Bi-directional Converter - charges and discharges the flywheel
User Interface, Monitoring and System Controls
Input Disconnect Bypass Switch, and Output Circuit Breaker
Engine - provides back-up power in the event of long-term power outages
Motor/Generator regulates output voltage, absorbs harmonics, corrects power factor, and generates clean power
Isolating Choke - works with the Motor/Generator to provide clean regulated output voltage

UNIBLOCK-T Diesel is an innovative approach to cost effective and
efficient power protection, ideal for an expanded range of commercial, critical process, industrial, and
power quality applications. At the heart of the UNIBLOCK-T Diesel is a unique flywheel energy storage module
that eliminates the need for batteries. The UNIBLOCK-T Diesel design maximises the benefits of flywheel
energy storage and incorporates an integrated diesel engine to create an extremely reliable, fault tolerant,
and compact online UPS system that deli-vers outstanding performance without the cost, space, maintenance,
and operational problems of batteries.
