STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE ORDER

 

1.    Order Placement:

 

1.1 Power Technology only accept responsibility for orders placed using our official Purchase Order system and accompanied by written advise of said Purchase Order.

 

1.2 Power Technology request that all orders are confirmed in writing within 48 hours of order placement with a confirmed dispatch date from the supplier.

 

1.3 Each Purchase Order is identified by a unique number. Power Technology accepts no responsibility for duplicate orders processed by the supplier.

 

1.4 All correspondence is to be directed to the buyer

 

1.5 Any orders that are received by Power Technology, which are not identified by the unique purchase order number will be returned to the supplier, using the supplier freight account and any freight charge received for inbound shipment will be charged back to the supplier.

 

1.6 Following confirmation of Purchase Order, changes can only be made my mutual agreement and must be made in writing.

 

2. Delivery Method:

 

2.1 Unless specifically agreed, Power Technology will not accept any split or partial deliveries of any purchase order

 

2.2 On each purchase order, the requested delivery date is the date on which we require goods to be collected by courier or freight company from supplier premises. For sea freight - the requested delivery date is the date we require the goods to be loaded on to the ship.

 

2.3 Delivery is to be made using the freight method requested on the purchase order at time of placement.

 

3. Cancellation:

 

3.1 Purchase orders may be cancelled by Power Technology at any time up to confirmation of delivery date from the supplier.

 

3.2 Subject to clause 3.3(below), Following confirmation of delivery date purchase orders may be only be cancelled within five working days of delivery date has been confirmed.

 

3.3 In the event goods are not dispatched by the initial confirmed delivery date, then Power Technology reserves the right to cancel the outstanding purchase order without any liability.

 

3.4 Outside of the cancellation window outlined in 3.1,3.2 and 3.3 above, purchase orders may only be cancelled by mutual agreement.

 

4. Amendments:

 

4.1 Power Technology reserves the right to amend any of these terms and conditions of Purchase Order, at any time.
